I was wondering if someone else here is also alergic to any type of deodorants they have tried? This has started happening to me a few months back and no matter what brend I use, I always get to ich and experience an alergic reaction to them. Have even tried some designed to prevent this, but they are doing the same thing. Would appreciate any help or advice, because just plain soap and water do not work for me most of the time. (Smile)

There are some natural deodorants you can buy from places that sell natural or organic products. I bought one once just out of curiosity to see if it worked, and it worked just fine. I can't remember what it was called though.

Check for places that sell deodorant sticks made out of mineral rock.

Go to your local natural foods store, or you can buy from a store that I absolutely love, called Pure Complexions. You can buy from them online, over the phone, or just sending in your check/money order and order form through the mail. Their web address is:

Another good site is lush.com. They sell vegan and organic products of all sorts...shampoos, foot and hand creams, body lotions, and yes, even deodorants.

I'm only allergic to roll on deodorants. I can use aerosols, but might look in to those stores and sites in the future, should my allergy extend to sprays.

Still keep trying whatever I can find here in any form, but no luck. Smile.

So what did you find and where did you find it? thankfully, I don't have that problem but it might be good to know for others who do. Btw, I use Crystal Roll-on. Thanks guys for the sites. Here are two of my own for general knowledge. Both sell all kinds of products for the body, the home, pets and more.

Deodorants actually have small traces of metal in them. I didn't know that until the last time I flew. I remember putting on deodorant that morning, and I beeped when I went through security. They asked me if there was anything I had with me that I thought might do that. I told them no, but that I didn't really know. They asked if I was wearing deodorant, and when I told them I was, they sent me on my way. I was really surprised.

You could also try using teatree oil. It's excellent at controlling odour.

Really? Thanks. I didn't know that, and it's also good for your skin and hair.

Regulate your use though. Too much of it and it tends to dry your skin out. Don't forget to moisturise!
